We apologise for the sporadic unexpected downtime over the past few weeks. We believe we have made significant progress in eliminating the source of the problem, and do not expect any more significant outages. In order to make up for the downtime, hosting fees will be waived for the months of December and January. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

We had a major RAID failure a few days ago. The bad hardware has already been replaced and we are currently working to restore all of the affected data from offsite backups. We greatly apologise for the extended downtime. No data was lost, and all services will be restored within the next few days. Paid customers will not be charged hosting fees for the month of July.

The mail server was down most of the day today due to an adjacent UPS that failed and caught fire. The server itself was not damaged, and we hope to have everything back up and running by Friday morning. Please note that although you cannot check or send mail during this outage, mail that others send you is unaffected. Thank you for your patience!

Pointless.epfarms.org broke one year of uptime today. This is the second time this server has pulled off such a feat, and is a fitting way for her to end her more than five years in service with us. In a few weeks, a brand new dual Xeon server will be replacing her. Thanks, pointless!

The postal service has not been forwarding all of our mail to the proper places, so sending payment to the old address could result in siginificant delays!

We have recently had several user accounts fall victim to the exploit mentioned at http://secunia.com/advisories/15244/. The only people affected are those running old versions of PHPNuke that are vulnerable to this attack, but the impact to these users has been significant (including temporary loss of account access). If you use PHPNuke on your website, and would rather not have malicious users hijacking your account, you are highly encoraged to upgrade to the newest release version immediately, and to keep PHPNuke up-to-date in the future.
